WHITE PAPER // v1.0 · AUGUST 2026
NOVA: real-time intelligence for newly launched tokens
This document lays out the problem NOVA is built to answer, how the signal engine works, what the $NOVA token is and is not, where the project is headed, and the risks involved in using either the product or the token. For the full technical internals — every component, data flow and production note — see Architecture ↗.
Abstract
One engine, three surfaces: a bot, a channel, and a token, all pointed at the same feed.
NOVA is an experimental research and alerting system that watches every new pump.fun launch as it happens, runs a fast rug-risk check before the crowd arrives, and pushes what it finds to Telegram — through a bot for on-demand lookups and a channel for the open broadcast. $NOVA is the project's own pump.fun listing, launched under the exact bonding-curve mechanism the engine was built to screen.
NOVA is not a promise of returns, and $NOVA is not a claim on future protocol revenue. Both are described here as they exist today: an active, still-tuning signal engine, and a fair-launch token that shares the project's name and nothing structurally more than that — for now.
The first minute is the dangerous one
Pump.fun makes launching a token nearly instantaneous. That speed is also what makes early minutes so easy to exploit.
Thousands of tokens launch on pump.fun's bonding curve every day. A small share are deployed in good faith; a meaningful share are set up so the deployer — or a coordinated group of early wallets — can extract value from anyone who buys in after them, often within minutes of launch. By the time a chart looks interesting enough to attract manual attention, the window to act on that information has usually already closed.
Retail traders watching this feed by eye are structurally behind: they cannot decode bonding-curve trades, cross-reference deployer wallets, or count real buyers faster than the token itself moves.
What the engine does
A single always-on process turns a raw launch feed into a risk read before most traders have opened the chart.
An ingestion daemon keeps a live connection open to pump.fun's launch feed and to Solana through Helius. From the moment a token is created, NOVA decodes trades against its bonding curve, tracks the deployer's own buys, counts early buyers, and flags wallets that look like repeat insiders — collapsing all of it into a single risk score.
That score reaches people through two channels: @NovaRadarSignalsBot, which answers on-demand questions about a specific mint and pushes personal alerts, and @NOVAexperiment, the open channel that broadcasts every BUY, SELL and EMERGENCY signal as it fires, no account required. Both read from the same engine; neither is fed by or feeds $NOVA.
Description and concept
$NOVA is the project's own listing — a fair-launch token run through the exact mechanism it was built to study.
Ticker $NOVA · Network Solana · Launch venue pump.fun, public bonding curve. There was no presale, no private allocation and no team pre-mint set aside before launch — $NOVA entered circulation the same way every token NOVA screens does, on the same public curve, in the same window as anyone else.
Using the bot or the channel has never required holding $NOVA; there is no gating, no fee-share, and no built-in alert priority tied to it today. Its purpose is different from a typical utility token: it is NOVA giving itself real skin in the exact game it screens, and it has become a rallying point for the community that already follows the signals — a way to hold a stake in the project itself, not just consume what it publishes.
Where NOVA goes from here
Sequenced around the community that actually uses the bot and channel today, not a fixed date-driven plan.
Phase 1 · Live
The real-time risk engine, @NovaRadarSignalsBot, @NOVAexperiment and $NOVA's own fair launch — the foundation already running today.
Phase 2 · In progress
Growing the free channel and bot subscriber base, and tuning the risk-scoring rules against more live data.
Phase 3 · Planned
A public dashboard for browsing signal history and flagged insider wallets without needing Telegram, plus coverage beyond pump.fun's own curve.
Phase 4 · Exploring
Ways for the people holding $NOVA and using the signals to weigh in on how the risk score itself is tuned.
Read this before using either the signals or the token
NOVA is experimental software and $NOVA is a volatile, newly launched asset. Treat both accordingly.
The risk score the engine produces is rules-based and still being tuned; it can miss real risk and can flag tokens that turn out fine. It is informational only, not financial advice, and not a guarantee of any outcome. Nothing on this site or in this document is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or investment product.
$NOVA, like any newly launched pump.fun token, can be extremely volatile and may become illiquid or lose most or all of its value. It carries no promised utility, revenue share or governance rights today — see the roadmap above for direction, not commitment. Do your own research, and only risk funds you can afford to lose.
